Meet the Team

Nicole Ferguson, Certified Holistic Nutritional Advisor

Nicole is Alberta born and raised, who had the opportunity to have lived on Vancouver Island for a few years. She has completed her Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant Diploma in Calgary, AB at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (C.S.N.N). Nicole has experience in getting to the root cause of symptoms by looking at the “whole picture” and getting to know you, she focuses on prevention of disease and ageing well. Nicole coaches her clients towards the goal of optimal health. During her time as a Nutritional Consultant she has helped her clients find local food, gives tips on how to fit in shopping, planning and preparing, healthy food, into a busy schedule and is also a food educator who can give resources to find local farmers and producers of natural, alive and good quality food. She has also done private meal preparing for busy families, consulted on pantry and kitchen organization to make eating well easier, save time as well as how to navigate a grocery store or market. She loves to facilitate workshops that teach people interesting, time saving techniques and easy, healthy, recipes. Nicole wants to keep nutrition simple, real and fun so it can be achievable long term. She understands life is busy and not everyone likes to cook or be in the kitchen and is realistic in her coaching but also believes we don’t have to sacrifice health as a result. Nicole is a coach, team member, cheerleader and a big fan of her clients in whatever goal they are working towards. She stays active by doing plenty of Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (N.E.A.T.) which she teaches her clients who don’t really like formal “exercise” Nicole really enjoys spending time in the kitchen creating new dishes or testing recipes to share with friends and family. She is a wife and mom with two children and a dog who like to go camping together, to be outdoors, as often as they can.

Paige Thomsen, RD, Nutrition Advisor

Paige is a quirky, fun dietitian born and raised in Calgary. She attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science, completing a dietetic internship shortly afterwards. Paige has experience in many facets such as diabetes, mental health, Indigenous health, disordered eating, weight management, and even IBS. Her experience makes her very knowledgeable, flexible and optimistic in any situation! You will be able to find a sense of peace with your eating challenges as Paige is particularly interested in food psychology and its role in the prevention of chronic disease. She can provide you with effective tools, insights, and practices to improve your relationship with your body and food. Paige deeply believes in the power of any human to heal, grow and transform. If you are tired of feeling stuck, she will provide you with a practical plan to meet your nutrition goals. Paige also loves working in the community to improve accessibility of healthy food to her patients. While working on an Indigenous reserve. Paige was able to teach families how to make healthy changes work for whatever budget! She wholeheartedly believes in investing in one’s well-being, and will inspire you to take control of your health!
