Scott Cobbett, Franchisee, BScKin, Nutrition Consultant

Scott’s warm and caring approach to consulting is exactly what SFL is all about. His passion is focused on helping people discover better health through food – Simply For Life. Scott has been part of SFL since 2006 when he opened the SFL clinics in Calgary. His energy & enthusiasm has lead the clinic’s teams to be the most successful in the network.

Heather Bowen, HNC

Following the Dietetics program, Heather completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Food, Nutrition and Health from UBC Vancouver. Heather continued her studies at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC where she received her Certification in Holistic Nutrition. Studying under the world’s top health and wellness experts, Heather learned the most up to date nutrition theories, holistic health practices, and key weight management techniques. Heather is also a Certified Raw Food Chef and prides herself on her ability to create delicious plant based cuisine. Heather is very excited to help others reach their wellness goals through education, motivation and a structured game plan. She believes that lifestyle related illnesses can be prevented and or reversed by fostering a positive mindset, developing healthy habits and choosing whole foods. Meghan Watson, C.H.N., Nutrition Consultant

Meghan is a hippie by birth & a healer by nature from Vancouver Island, British Columbia. She has been involved in various wellness coaching spaces since 2013, coming from a hospital background and transitioning into bodybuilding, personal training, and sports nutrition from there. She has since worked with and learned from industry leaders in Nanaimo and Calgary and has a voracious appetite for all things preventative medicine, biohacking, & holistic healing. Meghan graduated with honours from CSNN as a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant in 2019 and will be starting her two year Master Herbalist degree this fall. Her own personal physical, spiritual, and mental health journey over the years have led her to an understanding of the importance of approaching health from a perspective of wholeness. Meghan is passionate about using the abundance of nature as medicine, while also incorporating some of the advances in modern science and technology to reveal and correct imbalances within the body and mind – coming together in the pursuit of radiant health. As an avid meal prepper and work-life balancer, Meghan is ready and willing to aid any client in reaching their goals – nutritional imbalances, gut & intestinal issues, mindset shifting, metabolism upregulation, chronic stress relief, time saving, weight gain or loss – or simply how to fall in love with living life and taking care of yourself again. Meghan is available for coaching on MONDAY, FRIDAY and SATURDAY – and is very much looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your lifestyle goals!

Ankush Kumar, RD

A Registered Dietitian who's passionate about human health and well-being! Ankush approaches Nutrition in wholesome way, recognizing that there are many factors that affect our food choices including our lifestyle, personal preferences, thoughts and mood. With all the all these factors taking play into making food decisions, how does Ankush manage to facilitate one to towards their health goals? Simple- by aligning all those factors in one direction. It's like having the 4 wheels of your car running in their own directions (what a jerky ride that would be!). All it takes is aligning the four wheels (or more) in the same direction, making your health goals become reachable in the most efficient way possible. Ankush's warm and fun character makes him very approachable. Through evidence-based and goal-oriented advice, he will help you identify the most realistic actions that help you reach your goals. Every appointment is tailored to meet each person’s unique nutritional needs and lifestyle, whether it be for those with a disease or for those who want to simply be well.
