Sylvain Lavoilette - Nutrition Consultant

I have been interested in bodybuilding for as long as I remember, I had become overweight myself and needing and wanting to change my life, I understand the battles one goes through because of the cravings and discipline of changing one’s life. I have changed my entire lifestyle in order to become a healthier and better version of myself, not only for myself but for all those around me. I studied sports nutrition for my own needs and becoming a fitness trainer was a long time desire of mine so joining both, was for me, the perfect marriage. Changing my eating habits, my quality of food has led me to discovering a better quality of life allowing me to peruse my goals as a fitness trainer and nutritionist, now finishing my studies in sports nutrition and starting my studies to become a naturopath, I feel that Simply for Life is the perfect has the perfect psychology behind developing the need for a healthier lifestyle. SFL is not just a place to go to loose weight, but a place to learn to live again and my goal is to help promote the SFL way as possible so they can in order to reach not only a longer healthier life, but to do so with pride… My clients are my priority…

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in fitness and health. As a child, I watched my mother struggle with weight loss. This inspired me to learn about fitness and motivated me to help others achieve their goals. I knew that I wanted to help people with weight loss, but more importantly I wanted them to be healthier and happier overall. This led me to study the science of kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. During this time, I also took several courses through Fitness NB and received my personal trainer certifications, as well as my RTL certification. The next and most recent chapter of my life unfolded and I became a mother. Even with my fitness background and knowledge, I was not exempt to pregnancy weight gain. Over the course of pregnancy I gained a total of 55 lbs. This is when I learned first hand that starting from scratch is very difficult. My goal is to use my past experiences as well as my knowledge to help others become healthier and happier, no matter what stage of life they may be in.
