Meet the Team

Victoria Stead, BSc. P.Dt

was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, moving to Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition – Dietetics at Mount Saint Vincent University. She is a Professional Dietitian (c) under Nova Scotia Dietetic Association and a member of Dietitians of Canada. Victoria has always had a passion for helping others and expressed this in her experience in customer service at WestJet Airlines for five years while attending university. At 19, Victoria was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease which inspired her to pursue a career in dietetics. With first-hand experience, she understands the challenge of coping with dietary issues and the positive impact a proper nutrition program can have on disease management. Through a practicum in clinical and community dietetics, Victoria discovered her desire for public health nutrition. She strives to communicate the importance of prevention, treatment and management of chronic conditions and intends to complete a Masters to contribute to the research of the gastrointestinal tract. In the evolving discipline of dietetics, Victoria takes pride in research and advancement of knowledge. She immerses herself in continuing education opportunities and is excited to work with clients to guide and educate them through this ever-changing terrain. Victoria’s goal during consultations is to help educate, motivate, and support each client to help them achieve lifelong routines. In her spare time, Victoria will likely be travelling, hiking, near the ocean, spending time with her dog Duncan, or exploring all of what Nova Scotia has to offer. Zoe Ingraham, BSc. AHN

Zoe was raised in the small town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. She has always had a strong passion for nutrition and for motivating people to reach their full potential, which led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition at Acadia University. After completing her degree, she moved to Halifax and managed Supplement King, where she gained extensive knowledge within the nutrition, fitness and supplement industry before joining the Simply for Life team. Zoe’s personal journey has provided her with a unique understanding of the struggle associated with food and body image. She takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to helping clients, and believes that healthy eating is foundational to physical and mental well-being. Zoe understands the obstacles that people face day-to-day, and will create a realistic individual plan that works for you based on your goals and lifestyle.
