Meet the Team

Nicole Boyd, Franchisee & Bsc, RD

Nicole grew up in Fredericton, New Brunswick, and completed her Bachelor of Science, major in Nutrition at the University of Moncton. After becoming a Registered Dietitian, she worked at a Health Centre for Horizon Health Network, followed by the Government of New Brunswick as a Provincial Healthy Eating Consultant. Her passion for health and nutrition, helping others, and her love of connecting with people, naturally led her to nutrition consulting. Since 2009, she has been a practicing dietitian in the realm of health, and weight loss, and has has the opportunity to work with thousands of people from all walks of life. Nicole’s goal during her consultations is to help educate, motivate, and support each individual to help them achieve their goals. She is dedicated to each of her client’s success; providing evidence-based information, encouragement, and practical tools along the way. Over the years, she has specialized in emotional eating, mindfulness, and helping her clients heal their relationships with food, and their bodies. Nicole promotes finding balance, improving habits while having compassion for yourself, and teaches a step-by-step sustainable approach – no gimmicks, fad diets, or restrictive eating. She is a firm believer that healthy eating is enjoyable, and that change is possible for anyone. On her free time, you can find Nicole lifting weights, traveling, laughing really loud, drinking good coffee, gardening, and relaxing at home with her husband and pets.

Chris Boyd, Franchisee

Chris Boyd has always been inspired to work in the health, fitness and nutrition industry. He studied Nursing at the University of New Brunswick before managing one of Fredericton’s restaurants: The Blue Door. During this time, he experienced first hand how sourcing high quality local ingredients was so fundamental to making nutritious and delicious meals. Chris’ responsibilities at Simply For Life Fredericton North will include sourcing quality wholesome products for their market, managing the natural market, and customer care.

Bridget Pyke, MSc RD

After growing up in the beautiful Fredericton, New Brunswick and completing her Bachelor of Science from the University of New Brunswick, Bridget decided it was time for an adventure and headed to the cultural city of Montreal, Quebec. Three years later, she completed her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from McGill University and became a Registered Dietitian. During her dietetic internship in Montreal, Bridget worked in various hospitals, clinics and community settings, educating the public about nutrition. Bridget always had a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge about healthy living, and it was through clinic and community experience where she realized that a counseling dietetic role was her true calling. She decided to leave the big city behind and move home to her old stompin’ grounds in Fredericton. Shortly after her move home, she was hired at Simply For Life Fredericton North as their newest Registered Dietitian. With Bridget, its all about BALANCE! She believes in an “All Foods Allowed” approach and that everyone can reach their full potential when it come to their individual health. She wants to help you find the balance that works for YOU and your lifestyle! In her free time, you can find Bridget lifting dumbbells and doing burpees, cooking and baking delicious meals, singing and dancing along to Thomas Rhett (or some other country superstar) and of course laughing or making others laugh! Bridget wants you to believe in yourself and your incredible ability to become the best version of you, starting with nutrition. It’s GOAL time!

Jessica McCafferty, RD

Jessica is a Registered Dietitian who graduated from the University of Prince Edward Island. Her passion for health and wellness fueled her desire to learn and obtain education and training in Dietetics, and Kinesiology. Jessica loves to share her knowledge with everyone around her; she created a nutrition blog and social media page to do just that. In her free time, she enjoys running, lifting weights and testing out new recipes.
