Meet the Team

Jessyln Brake, Franchisee & Nutrition Consultant

Jesslyn Brake has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 14 years now. She is a graduate of St.Fx with a BSC. in Human Kinetics, a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor. While working as a kinesiologist she also taught fitness classes and trained clients. She started realizing that most of her clients had the wrong idea about what it meant to live a healthy lifestyle. A lot of her clients assumed that the “eat less do more cardio” approach was the only way they would see results so she had to change their mindset and help them train smart in order to see optimum changes in their bodies.

Nicole Kavanaugh, RD

Nicole is a graduate from Saint Francis Xavier University, where she studied a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. “Learning about food and reading food labels was always an interest of mine. Understanding how our bodies use and store food for energy always seemed fascinating”. Nicole went on to complete her Integrated Dietetic Internship at home in Cape Breton, where she gained crucial hands-on experience in the field of dietetics. After many years and countless hours of study time, Nicole passed her registration exam, providing her with the title Registered Dietitian.
