Crystal Mills, Franchisee & Nutrition Advisor

I really felt like there was a slimmer, healthier and more confident woman on the inside and I didn’t want many more years to pass and not bring her out and enjoy a better quality of life. My motivation?? Losing my mother to cancer when she was only 39 and I was 17, then my grandfather due to diabetes and being overweight, then my foster father to a heart attack when he was just 54, all within 3 years. When I had my 2 boys in 2005 and 2007 I knew I wanted them to have a healthy and happy mother. Knowing what I’m faced with genetically I wanted to make my body as strong and healthy as possible so that if faced with an illness I am strong to fight! Losing 70 lbs 8 years ago changed my life in every way and lead me to helping others also change their lives. I became a Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor Specialist, Licensed also to teach Zumba and Piloxing and have been successfully teaching in the community for 5 years. I have had the pleasure of helping many lose weight and even gain weight. I enjoy teaching folks how to live a healthy and active lifestyle and how to become stronger both mentally and physically. It’s not just about reshaping/retraining our bodies, but our minds. I am extremely excited for the opportunity that lies ahead with SFL! I believe in building great relationships and working together to find what is going to make YOU successful in reaching your goals in a way that works for your lifestyle. I find it very rewarding to help people find a happier and healthier version of themselves. I personally know how great this feels! With the right food and guidance anyone is able to live a healthy lifestyle and achieve incredible results!

Camilla Oldreive, Nutrition Advisor

In 2007 after having two kids and keeping my extra weight both times I thought it was time to start exercising. A friend and I started dabbling in running and a bit of free weight strength training then decided to try bootcamp. Bootcamp was where I found a new passion! A place where I found drive, determination and a strength I never knew I had! Along with the supportive environment I found new friendships that will last a lifetime! I was a stay at home Mom who loved to bake so for the first few years I exercised but didn’t change many of my eating habits. Eventually I realized I was having very little success and not reaching my full potential! Once the light came on and I made some changes the weight started coming off! I lost close to 40lbs and have been able to keep it off for 7 years now. I realized mindful eating and feeling good go hand in hand. And that eating healthy does not mean being bored with tasteless food! In 2011 I became a certified Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor. Since then I have added many certifications and trainings including TRX, Schwinn Spin, Older Adult Fitness and YogaFIt. I teach classes at The Rath Eastlink Community Centre as well as teaching conditioning classes at Cobequid Dance Academy. My goal is to help others be their very best self, realize their full potential and to 100% believe in themselves!! I love watching people grow and fall in love with life as they maneuver along their life journey! I look forward to our paths crossing and helping you find the spark that lights up your way to success! “The only impossible journey is the one you never begin”. –Anthony Robbins

Kevin Fifield, Nutrition Advisor

Kevin Fifield is a Training, Management, and Coaching expert with both passion and a proven track record for helping others succeed. A lifelong learner, he has honed his skills through a broad range of professional endeavors that have allowed him to step alongside others in their journeys for personal and professional development, as both catalyst and mentor. Regardless of conscientious efforts to remain active and committed to a healthy eating plan, without warning Kevin had a heart attack at age 54. During his convalescence he spent many hours researching health and wellness, recognizing areas that required improvement, and subsequently making those shifts. Through whole food dietary changes, stress management, and exercise he significantly reduced his blood pressure, lowered his LDL, and reduced his body fat to a healthy level. Kevin enjoys hiking, yoga, rock climbing, great food, travel adventures, and general silliness with his grandchildren. He is a committed family man who passionately pursues a life of integrity and value, that includes partnering with and empowering others to become the very best version of themselves. For all these reasons and more, he is excited to be joining the Simply For Life team.

Brianna Smith, Nutrition Advisor

Food has always been a huge part of Brianna’s life. As a little girl, she spent majority of her time using her play kitchen and easy-bake oven. During her teens, after struggling with body image and yo-yo dieting, Brianna started to learn more and more about nutrition and soon after found her life’s passion. In 2015, Brianna moved to Halifax to follow her dream of becoming a Dietitian. She attended Mount Saint Vincent University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition this past May. She has experience working with diabetes management, therapeutic diets and nutrition budgeting. Brianna is passionate about helping others expand their knowledge about nutrition and the human body. She keeps empathy and open-mindedness at the center of her counseling and is also very passionate about the importance of mental health. Body positivity and increasing longevity are both topics at the forefront of her counselling style. In her spare time Brianna enjoys painting, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She has a golden retriever that she adores, they enjoy hiking together and both love spending time at the beach. She is very enthusiastic about the Simply for Life team and is looking forward to meeting new clients!
