Mila Maxwell, Franchisee, CHN, Nutrition Consultant

After trying nearly every skin care line on the market, prescription steroid creams and even the drug Accutane, twice, she started questioning her diet, even though every dermatologist she saw told her diet would do little to improve her condition. “In University I started paying closer attention to my diet, after eating nearly anything I wanted all my life, I figured it might be the missing link. I became very strict with my diet, cutting out sugar and junk and eating more fruits and vegetables and it was then that things started to change; that’s when I knew I was on to something. Not only did my eating habits change, but so did my mood, attitude, energy and of course, my choice of skin care products. I tossed anything that had artificial scents, parabens and harmful preservatives and focused on only using a minimal number of products that were completely natural.” Over the years, Mila has gained a wealth of knowledge through research, courses and general curiosity. She has discovered ways to manage stress and anxiety and loves to help clients improve their own health with her gentle and empathetic approach. Her true passion lies in helping others feel their best through proper nutrition and self-care. She has, and continues to study nutrition and is now a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Naturopath, as well as a certified yoga instructor.

Jill Waddell, CHN & Nutrition Consultant

Her passion for fitness evolved over time, starting when she discovered she was faster than every boy on the playground, to being heavily involved in track and field during her high school years as well as, the fastest winger on the girls KV high rugby team during her graduating year. From the time her two children, Sam (10) and Kalea (12) were babies, Jill has instructed every kind of fitness class that came her way. Certified through Les Mills International in 2006, Jill has taught everything from yoga, cardio dance, TRX, Aqua Running and her ultimate and current , spin class. When the season is right, you can find Jill running and cycling throughout the streets and country side of Hampton, Belleisle, Kars, Keirsteadville, Kingston and Sussex and training for triathlons which she looks forward to racing in this summer. Consulting with Simply for Life for over a year and a half now, this career move has been the icing on the cake for her so to speak, combining her beliefs that good food and fitness are the key to ultimate health and mental and wellness. Jill’s clients maintain their Simply For Life memberships to continue on with her friendly but firm direction. Her clear directives and no excuses attitude motivates clients to go above and beyond what they thought was possible on their own, and in turn, they keep coming back for more of her magnetic inspiration to propel their own wellness journey! She is currently studying and very close to the end of her Certified Holistic Nutritionist designation through Alive Academy and can’t wait to continue sharing her love for wellness to future clients in both Sussex and Hampton!
