Nutrition Coach

Becca Green-LaPierre

MSc, PDt

Becca.GreenLaPierre@simplyforlife.com

Becca Green-LaPierre, MSc, PDt is a wife, mom and professional dietitian. She obtained an undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph (2003), and a master’s degree from Mount Saint Vincent University (2008).

Becca is continually advocating for the critical role dietitians have in a variety of healthcare and community settings; she’s worked in Ontario and Nova Scotia in family doctor offices, First Nations Health Centre, Midwifery Office, Metabolic (low carb) Clinic and taught at both Dalhousie and Mount Saint Vincent Universities.

She appreciates the complexity of eating well in today’s obesogenic environment; starting and maintaining healthy behaviours can be hard! Depending on the client’s needs, she uses Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, nutrition education and practical food preparation recommendations to help her clients meet their health goals!

Becca currently lives in the Valley on a small, urban farm where she and her family are learning to grow vegetables and raise pigs, goats, and chickens.
