Chris Boyd is a dedicated nutrition coach with a unique background and a passion for empowering others to lead healthier lives. With his foundation in customer service, nursing, and fitness, Chris brings a holistic approach to his coaching practice, focusing not only on dietary choices but also on overall well-being.
After studying Nursing at UNB, Chris realized his true calling lay in preventive healthcare rather than clinical treatment. His experience in nursing has equipped him with an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and the importance of nutrition in maintaining optimal health.
Driven by his desire to make a positive impact, Chris transitioned his focus to nutrition coaching, where he found his niche in guiding individuals towards sustainable lifestyle changes. His approach to nutrition coaching focuses on techniques to improve one’s mental health and wellbeing in order to achieve desired nutrition results. Chris learned through his own mental health struggles that exercise was one of the best treatments for improving mental health and likes to incorporate it to help clients feel their best. He believes where the mind goes, the body will follow, and wants to help people feel their best, both mentally and physically.
Chris’s approach to coaching is rooted in empathy, support, and education. He understands that each person’s journey towards better health is unique, and he tailors his guidance to meet the specific needs and goals of his clients. Whether it’s weight management, improving energy levels, or enhancing athletic performance, Chris is dedicated to helping his clients to achieve their healthiest selves.
Chris is also a huge nutrition supplement and research nerd who is always looking over new studies and research. He is fascinated with how to best optimize the body and mind to feel its best and is always looking into different supplements that can help achieve that.
As a nutrition coach, Chris is not only passionate about helping individuals reach their goals but also about instilling them with the knowledge and confidence to sustain their progress long-term. He believes that everyone deserves to feel their strongest and is excited to work with his clients on their path to optimal health and wellness.

Petra Bergner is a Certified Nutrition and Executive Coach who brings over 30 years of experience helping people create meaningful, lasting change. With a Master of Arts in Leadership and a long career supporting high-performing professionals, Petra understands the unique pressures faced by people who “have it all together” in every area except their health.
After decades of putting others first, Petra found herself on her own weight-loss and healing journey. As a woman in her 50’s navigating prescription injectable medication for long-term weight management (GIP and GLP-1 hormones for weight loss), peri/menopause, and a 50-pound weight loss, she knows firsthand how complex, emotional, and transformative this work can be.
At Simply for Life, Petra creates a compassionate, judgment-free space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. She specializes in helping:
➡️Individuals using weight-loss medications or considering using weight-loss medications who want sustainable habits and confidence.
➡️Women who are successful in life but feel like they’re “failing” at weight loss
➡️Women in peri- or post-menopause who want to feel strong, healthy, and at home in their bodies.
Petra’s coaching blends evidence-based strategies with deep emotional support, meeting each person exactly where they are. Her approach is rooted in kindness, clarity, and the belief that everyone deserves to feel good in their body… and never to feel ashamed for wanting change.
You don’t need discipline, willpower, or perfection to change your life.
You just need a place where you feel held while you do it.
That’s the space she creates.

Having spent most of the last 10 years in roles at the Regent Mall, many people still know me as “That Tea Guy”. I bring many years of retail experience along with me and I am ready to bring to the table everything I have learned to help you along your way.
I love to laugh and spend as much time as I can doing things that make me laugh. In my free time, I try to spend as much time as I can with my family, having a great big bundle of nieces and nephews to keep me on my toes. When I am not with family, as an amateur musician and magician, you can usually find me with a ukulele or a deck of cards in my hands.
Along with my professional journey here at Simply For Life Fredericton North, my own personal journey is starting here as well. I am so excited to be working along side all of you as we move successfully forward!
