Passionate about building strong communities through the individual health and well-being of its members, Rachel found her calling in helping others find their optimal health through nutrition and fitness. After years of personal training, and teaching bootcamps and Zumba, Rachel joined Simply For Life in 2014 and knew right away it was the perfect fit with its focus on helping people live their best lives through food and nutrition. Rachel opened Simply For Life New Glasgow in 2015 and has since helped hundreds of people change their lives. She is now eager and excited to bring this same energy and enthusiasm to Simply For Life Antigonish as she is the proud new owner of this location as well.

Danielle grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and attended Saskatchewan Polytechnic where she graduated with a diploma in Food and Nutrition Management. She then went on to work with the Saskatchewan Health Authority as a food service supervisor where she enjoyed the relationships she built with staff and patients. Danielle was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at a young age and knew that altering her diet was one way she could feel better. Wanting to learn more about helping others, and how food played a role in overall health, this led her to Nova Scotia to pursue her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Acadia University. After graduating in 2019, she completed an internship in the Annapolis Valley, and is now a professional dietitian (c). Danielle is excited to join the Simply For Life Team and utilize her skills to help people achieve their health goals. When not at work, she enjoys practicing yoga, exploring Nova Scotia through hiking, visiting the local coffee shops, farmers’ markets, and has been told she does a little too much online shopping!

Nutrition has always been a passion of April’s and being the daughter of a farmer it had always been instilled in her to know where food comes from and how to eat. April is a Certified Nutrition Coach, and assistant manager to both Simply For Life Stellarton and Simply For Life Antigonish.
April loves to meet new people and help out in any way she can. She has been blessed with a positive outlook on life, and always finding the good in situations. April loves having the opportunity to share all of her knowledge in both her personal life and her professional life.
